The Mayor of PaxLair, Minsk, and members of her council met with ATD of Dragons Watch at a private location to discuss the ideas of merging the two cities. While the internal discussions are still confidential, rumor has it an announcement may likely occur at the Weekly PaxLair meeting on August 9, 2004.

On this day, Gyldenfeld held a Comedy Night, hosted by Anton. The event was part of Gyldenfeld's week long grand opening. As people settled into their seats awaiting the start of the Comedy contest between two teams, Old Man Winfield offered a skit to help people pass the time away. This skit was prepared and the rogue "BONG-hits" was in the audience but part of the skit, even though no one knew this at the start. On stage, Winfield sold Fish Steaks in the era of 1997 outside the Britain Bank. Then, BONG-hits came on stage from the audience. The Journal is attached here. Have fun!

The role of the Mayor's Office is to work from both ends of the spectrum of time (daily services and support, to long-range planning and vision). The daily focus is accomplished by the Chancellors focusing on daily activities within PaxLair and Emissaries on daily activities in their appointed towns. The long-range focus is accomplished by the Mayor receiving counsel from the Chancellors, Emissaries, and Council.

It seemed relatively harmless, even peaceful, and also spoke of wishing to be released from something. After a time, many began to suspect that there was not just one skeleton, but many.

Zaine the Lurker, an entity trapped and in pain as a ghost, visited the PaxLair Mage Tower and warned that the Order of the Blue Skull would be coming to the area very soon; a matter of days or weeks. He indicated a book we retrieved a few weeks ago is a key to understanding this mystery. That book is located in the PaxLair Archives entitled "An Urgent Matter, by Seer Garak" and looks like a confidential note within the Order of the Blue Skulls.
