This week's PaxLair Meeting, which lasted one and a half hours was attended by Winfield, Neo Of Lothlore, Mayor Minsk, SNOOPY, Shalu, Zog, Earl, Cross MacLeod, Memnock, Grimlar Mithrax and Monk.New Knight's Tower in Design
Winfield has designed a new tower/arena for the PaxLair Knights that will replace the existing North Pax Tower. The new tower, which includes an arena and public viewing boxes, rooms for the Knights, a tavern and a number of security features; is expected to be constructed in the next week.
Memnock to Become Citizen
Winfield announced that Lord Memnock of the Sillyhood would like to tryout PaxLair Citizenship. The paperwork is being filed, and if all goes well, Memnock will be made an official citizen in a few weeks' time.
Sillyhood Relations With PaxLair & Lockpicking House
Lord Memnock of the Sillyhood would like to establish political relations with PaxLair. The keeper of the Duir of Yew and SillyHaus expressed interest in building and constructing an embassy in PaxLair, while stating that a public lockpicking house in Yew, Trammel, is now available to all residents and citizens of PaxLair. Thor's and Oden's Days: As Usual
This week the Dragons Watch Oden's Day hunt will take place in Cove at 8:30pm EST on Wednesday, and the PaxLair Thor's Day hunt will again journey to Doom at 9pm EST on Thursday.
PaxLair City Meeting to Remain on Monday Nights?
Winfield stated that there is likely to be reduced attendance at Monday PaxLair meetings due to people watching a strange Bagball match occurring every Monday night [Monday night football]. Therefore, maybe it would be better to change the day of the meeting. Mayor Minsk said she would query the PaxLair Citizens stating some options, some obstacles, and make a decision.
Winfield Going on a Pilgrimage
Winfield announced that he will be going on a Pilgrimage to seek out other people in the Realm on Felucca, Trammel, Malas, the Lost Lands, and Illshenar for a two week period. His intent is to meet people around the Realm with various interests. Since Winfield is a neutral old man, raised on Felucca and former Mayor of PaxLair, he hopes to contact as many people as possible throughout all parts of the Realm during his Pilgrimage. His retirement past-time of Fishing has him between expeditions at the moment since the fish are not biting.
He is interested in other towns and guilds of evil and good alignment that include murderous guilds, combatant guilds, vampires and witches and others of that evil nature, virtue and/or adventure seekers, quest and event seekers, bank patrollers, and guilds/towns of all natures.
Zog, the evil Necromancer of PaxLair has joined the Pilgrimage. Winfield may invite a few others as well, but on a selective basis.
After the PaxLair meeting on Sep 20, the Pilgrimage will officially start for two weeks time. Before that Sep 20th meeting, the Pilgrimage members will prepare by researching and finding various towns/guilds to try and visit, and make initial contact through various means. If you have a town or a guild that you would like to be visited by this Pilgrimage, contact Winfield. If there is an over-whelming response, the Pilgimage may not be able to visit all places. If there is an under-whelming response, the Pilgrimage may just show up on your doorstep if the research catches their interest.
The Pilgrimage is likely to make various reports during the two week period. Any and all privately or confidentially discussed information will NOT be revealed to the public and kept in strict confidence, unless specifically released by the town/guild contacted. Reports will be cleared for news release through the town/guild when appropriate. This is not intended to be a "news reporting" survey for your town or guild. It is intended for Winfield to reach out to others in the spirit of the Realm's community. So, full news articles about your town will not really be created, but there should be a lot of fun in the process of town/guild introductions.
Winfield hopes the Pilgrimage will enable more of the Realm's community to work together in whatever ways that are appropriate and meaningful.

Attacks in Cove
There is an invasion in Cove where various orcs and the like have teamed together to conquer and defend Cove. There are many monsters and fighters seen in Cove starting last Thursday. PaxLair people were encouraged to contact each other rapidly with any changes in developments as well as fight the invaders in Cove. Keep an eye out for things to happen regularly each week and alert others through different means. We do not yet know why the invasion has occurred; only that Cove needs our help!
And that wrapped up the meeting. Next Monday PaxLair will hold the weekly meeting at the town hall in PaxLair. Thanks to all who attended!
